My 23rd Birthday! <3

Happy Sunday guys andΒ gals!

I am still in shock that I turned 23 just a few days ago.. Man I’m starting to realise that I’m turning into a fully grown adult. I even had to tell my boyfriend off for calling me a ‘girl’ yesterday. “No I’m not a girl” I replied, “I’m a woman”. At what age do you turn from a girl into a woman? Is there a set age?

Anyway, I had an AWSOME Birthday, spent with my boyfriend & sister. My sister and I went to get controversial tattoos (we like to be controversial) LOL! I had a large Bohemian style tattoo on the side of my thigh and my sister had a little elephant on her ankle. I’ve received lots of comments on Instagram asking me if my thigh tattoo hurts. Let me tell you, it’s not an unbearable pain at all, but of course there is an ounce of pain. It feels like a burning friction sensation, but it is definitely a bearable pain. After 5 minutes of being in the chair I hardly thought about the pain because I got used to it. I must admit, the shading felt a bit weird.

Here’s my new thigh tat! I’ve got to go back in a couple of weeks to have a bit added to it but you can see photos when it’s finished over on my Instagram page (so keep an eye out).

We also spent the day shopping in Bournemouth which was great (a girl gotta shop on her Birthday). I bought loads from Topshop and Miss Selfridge. I was a little gutted I didn’t see anything I wanted in River Island because it is my all time favourite shop! (*sad face*)

The weather was gorgeous and we chilled in the gardens with beautiful flowers (I’m not sure what these gardens in Bournemouth centre are called). I could have sat there all day!

We then carried on with a little more shopping and bought a Bubble Tea from the top of town. If you follow me on Snapchat you will understand the love I have for Bubble Tea.. That’s if you haven’t deleted me due to the number of Bubble Tea snaps I post almost daily haha (*monkey covers eyes emoji*).

PS. If you haven’t tried Bubble Tea yet then PLEASE, the next time you’re near a cafe that sells it.. Buy one! It’s surprising how many places sell them these days. They’re so fruity and I swear some of them don’t even contain tea at all? My favourite is the passionfruit syrup with mango boba at the bottom in case you’re stuck deciding on a flavour to try.

After a wonderful day shopping, we headed to Poole for some dinner. We decided to eat at Chiquitos and I had their pulled pork Tacos (nom nom)! For those who love Mexican food, Chiquitos is an absolute must try. We had a lovely meal followed by a quick game of bowling. We decided that whoever lost would have to give the winner their mobile phone for the evening. The winner could send a text message of their choice to 10 of the losers contacts and see what hilarious replies they received back. It was such a tight game and my boyfriend won followed by me and my sister drawing! Can you believe how lucky we were to both draw meaning that no one had to sacrifice their phones for the evening (phew).

I later returned home to a rather large parcel from MissGuided that contained a load of gorgeous dresses, jeans and a top. I love a MissGuided delivery! If you want to find out what items I received then head on over to my Instagram where I will be posting photos over the next couple of weeks πŸ™‚

So that was how I spent my 23rd Birthday. I had the most enjoyable time and I’d like to thank everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday through social media. I will be filming a Youtube haul today on the items I purchased and also on my MissGuided delivery! My video should go live either tonight or over the next couple of days.
