Monthly Beauty Subscription Boxes – Which one to choose? <3

If you’re a fan of beauty products then I am sure you are wondering which monthly beauty box to subscribe to. Beauty subscription boxes have become extremely popular over the last 12 months and I, like you, have been wondering which is best value for money. Well this month I received 3 beauty boxes so I have decided to write a review on each one in order to offer you a little help on making your decision on which beauty box to subscribe to.

So lets get started…

Beauty Subscription Box – Number O1 ❤

Birch Box - Monthly Subscription Box
Birch Box – Monthly Subscription Box

So here is the sweet little beauty box sent to me by Birch Box. I have been wanting to check out the Birch Boxes for quite some time so I was really excited to receive this in the post. The box itself is quite small compared with the other boxes but the design of the box is super sweet and i love all the little ’emojis’ on the lid.

Birch Box offer 5 deluxe beauty samples in their beauty boxes and this month they included a 6th ‘exclusive’ product which was very exciting. I love that these boxes include some very well known brands such as The Balm Cosmetics (which I love) and Lord & Berry. This box also included a sweet little Birch Box bag to keep your samples or other beauty products in. 3 of the samples in this box were fairly large products and these included the Ayurveda Scrub (70ml), Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo (50ml) and the Huygens Face Scrub (10ml). The extra free product was a sample of the Illamasqua Hydrating Gel (3ml).

Not only did I receive 6 lovely samples in the August Birch Box but I also received a sheet of Birch Box emoji stickers (how cool?) and a leaflet containing information on each product including their price for the full sized products.

For a beauty box from Birch Box costs £10 + £2.95 and to be honest I think this is great value for money. It’s a great way to try out products before you purchase the full sized product.

Look Fantastic Beauty Subscription Box

So I have been trying out the Look Fantastic beauty boxes for a few months now and this is probably one of my favourites. i think this one is great value for money and inside the box the products come beautifully wrapped. This is probably the perfect box to buy as a gift for someone (or for yourself) as it is just like unwrapping a present and I’m always pleasantly surprised with what’s inside.

So in this months (August) Look Fantastic box I received 6 products to try, all of which are very large samples and they include some very popular brands. I received a Omorovicza Budapest perfume tester, an Eve Lom cleanser (30ml), a Rimmel London mascara (full size – 11ml), a Beauty Works 10 in 1 Miracle Spray (50ml), a Caviar CC Cream (25ml) and a Bellapierre Cometics eye shadow shimmer powder (2.35g). This beauty box also comes with a leaflet to give you more information on each of the products. I would really recommend this box if you are looking to receive larger products to try or if you are thinking of purchasing a beauty box as a gift.

Look Fantastic offer 3, 6 and 12 month plans for their beauty boxes. For a 3 month plan costs £13.33 per box, for a 6 month plan costs £12.50 per box and for a 12 month plan costs £11.25 per box. Their availability is limited though so I would recommend heading over to their website and signing up so that you can be added to their subscriber list.

Love Me Beauty Monthly Subscription Box

My final beauty box to share with you is the Love Me Beauty box which is slightly different from the other two as in you have ‘credits’ to use on their website. You can ‘buy’ credits in order to add more products to your beauty box and you will also receive 6 free credits each month to use on the Love Me Beauty website. At first you will be asked a series of questions on your product preferences so that Love Me Beauty can provide product recommendations for you. With this subscription box you have more choice on which products you would like to add so you can make it more personal to you which I think is a great idea for those of you who are worried about receiving products you may not use. This also means that the cost of the subscription box can vary depending on the number of products you add each month.

So this month my products arrived in the gorgeous Love Me Beauty box which is very feminine and pretty. Inside the box my products were inside a sweet little Love Me Beauty bag which is perfect for storing your makeup/cosmetic products in. I received 7 different products inside this months August beauty box, some were large samples and some were small, however I was really happy with them all. I received a full size Strawberry Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm (10g), a full size ARK Skin Purifying Masque (75ml), a Talika Bio Enzymes Mask sample (20g), a full size Model Co Eye Define Liquid Eyeliner, a Love Me Beauty nail file, a Model Co Lip Gloss and a sample of the Nude Progenius Rescue Oil (5ml).
